I think that computerized calls should be banned as they tie up the telephone line. I have received these calls in the past and you cannot disconnect, if you need to make an emergency call you cannot until these messages complete. I pay for my telephone line and consider this my PRIVATE line. If telemarketers want to use the telephone to invade our privacy then they can, WHEN THEY PAY MY PHONE BILL. Let them pay to advertise on TV, in the paper, etc. Don't let them advertise at our expense.
