|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:Please do not allow this loophole in the Do Not Call Registry. I have no idea why an unsolicited pre-recorded message is being considered more acceptable than a phone call by a real person. Both are equally annoying. I do not want telemarketing calls of any type. And I do not want to have to go through the trouble of opting-out of every company's telemarketing program should this loophole manage change the registry rules. I am already bombarded by too much junk-mail, e-mail spam and general crap on the radio and television. I'm not excited about the prospect of the return of telemarketing calls.
