|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I am writing to express my opposition the the proposed rule change to allow "pre-recorded message telemarketing" or "Robo-calling." Even with the new "Do Not Call" registry, calls are still made under the guise of an "established business relationship," a definition that can be stretched to absurd lengths by marketers. I believe that the new proposal reprensents a further erosion of the "Do Not Call" legislation and a further erosion of the public's right to privacy. Thank you.
