Please do not loosen the regulations concerning the Do Not Call list. I operate my business from my home. Despite being on the "do not call" list, I get numerous telemarketin calls every day. For many of these calls, I have no direct business relationship with the calling company, only a business relationship with some affiliate. Despite the current regulations on abandoned calls, I get abandoned calls every day, often multiple abandoned calls the same day. These calls interrupt my work and interfere with my ability to pursue my business. It is getting easier more more and more people to work at hand, through advances in computer technology. Loosening these regulations will be a burden on those of us who are taking advantage of new technology to make our contributions to the economy.
