Please, please, please -- I beg of you to keep the current live-caller restrictions on telemarketers with pre-existing customer relations. Those retailers and marketers who object have many other avenues of communication available to them, such as email or direct-mail advertising. The no-call list has cut sales calls almost totally out of my life, and I would like to be able to keep these people from invading my home and stealing my time without my permission. I am allowed to prevent people from trespassing on my property -- please help us all to retain both that right and the ability to enjoy the fruits of that right.
