I protest in the strongest terms any modification of the rules that will allow more telemarketing calls under any guise or circumstance. Automated calls are PARTICULARLY annoying and pointless, and many times only send minutes of silence, and there is no way of replying to say 'don't ever do this again'. Telemarketing is one of the worst developments of modern technology, and if I could do without a telephone, I would, on this account. Sincerely Andrew Maring
