I read with great concern about Voice Mail Broadcasting Corp's request to circumvent the existing Do Not Call regulations in today's SF Chronicle. I vehemently oppose this proposal on several grounds. First, the spirit of the Do Not Call legislation is clear. The public does not want to be bothered by unwelcome telephone calls - plain and simple! Second, a machine can't hear me say "Put me on your do not call list!" In fact, it can't hear at all! Third, the fact that I inquired, purchased, or in any way dealt with a business in no way constitutes a relationship worth of opening me and my family to unwanted intrusions! Please protect my sanity by declining anything that erodes the spirit of the current regulations! Thank you. Craig
