I urge you not to approve either amendment, as my wife and I fear that it will lead to bothersome calls. Since we signed up for the "do not call" list, the number of unsolicited calls to our home has dropped dramatically and we would like to keep it that way! We fear that the proposed amendments would increase the likelihood and number of unsolicited calls and only chips way at the protection(s) offered by the initial law. Therefore, please do not approve the amendments. The law as currently written protects the people... please honor their wishes. If someone really wants to be contacted by a soliciter, they do not have to sign up in the first place or they can have their name taken off the list. Glenn and Pat Kistner
