NO! NO! NO! PLEASE NO! I spend 33% of every day and night filtering through unwanted intrusions in my home. From 6 to 20 calls a day from Republican "charities", "family"pollsters, and already an average of 3 "pre-recorded" messages from charities, colleges, police associations, etc. These interruptions are added to the sales at the front door, the flyers on the door, in my mail box or on my car. I spend anywhere from 10 to 50 minutes out of every day filtering through unrequested e-mail on the personal computer which I paid for, from the internet , for which I pay for. I spend (at least)12 to 40 minutes out of every day filtering through unwanted mail. The productivity in my home is stymied by these intrusions, and enough is enough, what is this American Dream? Are homeless people to be more productive than homeowners? Are corporations interests more important than individual people? How am I to get through a day without anger? Ads innundate me on the transit walls, billboards intrude on the greenspace of my drive. I already am disappointed in the watered-down bill that managed to pass through congress. Do not water it down more! My God is the American citizens' productivity and sanity nothing to this administration? Do we not deserve to consider our home our own domain and refuge? My anger is rising every time my focus, concentration and productivity are short-circuited by pollsters, so-called family-value non-profits, political causes, our (#!*!#) Governor, and 3 to 4 pre-recorded calls each and every day(Simply because I keep phones to make sure that I am available for my children's and my employee's security and for my own personal, business, and emergency purposes.) Can you explain to me why I pay for an unlisted number as this seems to mean nothing? I want the calls to STOP NOT INCREASE. Does no one get that this stuff is crippling the productivity of the American workers? Does this garbage go on in Japan? At what price are we (the American Community) to pay for "corporate progress" that intrudes on our daily minds and time? LEAVE ME and MY HOME/CELL PHONES ALONE! It's time you represent the people and countries best interests. The only time we should receive a pre-recorded call that we have not previously approved is by the local or state government to inform us of some impending or ongoing disaster which requires our immediate attention AND action! Enough already. Where is my freedom to choose just who gets "in" my home, my (so-called) refuge? Our collective American sanity and productivity and financial viability (this ALL costs money..in incoming cell charges (I forward my home Phone for my children/work), electricity, and time away from work/productivity..some one needs to step back and look at how this affects everything! Please, please stop the insanity! What's next virtual ads men at my front door? Stop It!
