Just because I have done business with a company doesn't mean that I want to be bothered with their telemarketing calls. It also irrates me to have my phone ring, and upon answering it,find no one is there. At this point I'm almost sure it was a telemarketer call. The law needs to be tightened up to prevent this practice. My position is that I would not buy a product from a telephone solicitation. As a consumer, I am against the proposed amendment to the Telemarketing Sales Rule.
