Recently I found that the FTC was considering relaxation of the Do-Not-Call Registery rules. I am 100% against it. I would prefer the rulings be made more stringent than they are today. For example, after registering my unpublished number on the do-not-call list, I began receiving calls from companies that used the do-not-call list as a source of telephone numbers to solicit. I have no recourse because these were companies I had plausibly once upon a time done business with -- How can I prove I never did business with someone? So make spam calls illegal. And while you are at it, extend it to e-mail addresses. Tim
