Please do not allow changes to the "do not call" rule. Continual telephone spam severely disrupted our household until this rule went into effect. I personally refuse to do business with any company that intrudes on my privacy, whether by telephone or direct solicitation. However, I do not want my privacy interrupted by frequent calls even though I hang up. I also do not have time to individually inform companies of my desire to be left alone. It is imperative that there is a "one-act" solution to this issue to protect consumers. Companies have many options for solicitation without this unwarranted and undesired intrusion upon the home lives of American citizens!
