I urge/plead with you NOT to amend the Telemarketing Sales Plan to make it easier for telemarketers to resume bombarding people with recorded sales pitches. Their "established business relationship" is merely a ruse. If people, casual customers, or customers who do business regularly for large amounts of money want to receive sales pitches, they can tell the businesses they would accept them. But the rest of us should be left in peace. Under the "Do Not Call" plan, life at home is so pleasant now without the telemarketing calls, most of which had been recorded messages. Please don't make life miserable for us again. Please don't give in to the powerful and rich telemarketing lobby. Thanks very much for your consideration and, hopefully, letting the Telemarketing Sales Plan stand as now written.
