If all the businesses I ever purchased anything from can claim that they have an established relationship with me because of my purchases, the FTC would allow all of them to make unsolicited calls to me. I would then likely receive several thousand calls a day from telemarketeers. This would make a mockery out of the "Do not call List". Can we, for once, retain the privacy of my my home, and retain my sanity? The petition of the DIRECT MARKETING ASSOCIATION should also be summarily rejected, to provide relief for us, the TAXPAYERS, WHO PAY your salaries!!!
