I don't wish to receive any pre-recorded calls, ever - even from my best friends, and sales people are not my best friends! I find pre-recorded calls offensive and annoying. They are the same thing as junk e-mail. I would never think of pre-recording something and ringing someone else's phone with it. It's just rude. I certainly do _not_ want to be informed about any company's sale or promotion by phone, whether I have a relationship with them or not. If I want to buy something, I look for it on-line, or go to the local retailer myself. Our family has a rule that we don't buy anything that is advertised by telemarketing. I am very upset that the wonderful protection we have received from the no-call list is now possibly going to be eaten away at by companies who want to annoy millions of people while fishing for a few sales. Please don't let them get away with this!!!! Please stand by the original intent of the people. Thank you. Nancy Wolf
