I stronly oppose any proposal to increase invasions of my telephone privacy. Pre-recorded telephone messages from any vendor is obnoxious & irritating. It is very frustrating to answer a telephone call from such telemarketers & then to have to hang up in disgust for receiving such unwanted junk-calls. I signed up for the "do not call' list to avoid being bothered by these inane messages, & I tell merchants who are exempt from the list NOT-TO-CALL as I don't want their telemarketing pitches either. Respect our privacy & do not open our telephones to additional irritation. Thank you, Anthony Mullin
