Dear Commissioners,Since the adoption of the "do not call" list, we have been able to enjoy our evening meals without incessant interruptions. We no longer feel compelled to run to the telephone only to discover either a recorded message or total silence. Our house is quiet and peaceful, free from the jangle of the telephone unless it is family or friends who call. We, too, are free from bombardment by those who care not a whit for us but only for our money. The constitution guarantees us life and the pursuit of happiness - life that we wish to orchestrate for ourselves, not one dictated by telemarketers and happiness that results from our choices, not those of commercial interests. Please do not loosen the restrictions on telemarketing. Lorraine McLean
