I oppose ANY attempts to lssen restrictions on telemarketers - specifically the current attempt to amend the limitation of dead-air calls to 3 percents of total calls, and to allow telemarketers to use prerecorded messages to reach pre-existing customers. The establishment of the "Do Not Call" list has been the best thing that the government has done for consumers in a long time - don't destroy what has been a victory for consumers over intrusive phone calls.
