I have appreciated my increased privacy since the FTC's Do Call List was implemented. I do not want ANY companies, even those with whom I have a relationship, to call me at home without my prior, explicit, written consent, and would even like to see the rules extended to include unsolicited campaign and other political phone calls. I certainly object very strongly to the proposed amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule that would weaken its strictures. I still receive unending faxes to my fax line even though I registered it in the do not call registry also.
