We value our privacy, which has been much invaded. Most annoying and upsetting are unwanted phone calls. Unwanted phone calls include calls from those companies with whom we do business. If I want to receive notice about a sale, for example, I will ask the company to send me this information by mail.. However, in most cases, I do not want extra mail, either. My opinion is that it would be a travesty to loosen restrictions on telemarketers. The FCC needs to conform to FTC rules, not the opposite! The people have already spoken on this matter through the DO NOT CALL lists.
