With the advent of the 'dnc' list the number of telemarketing calls to my home was reduced from more than 20 calls a day to no less than 2 a day now ... those being calls from 'supposed' charities ... DO NOT ALLOW the proposed change be made to the rules ... as a past charitable household we are continueing to be bombarded by professional business telemarketers using our past gifts as the key to calling us ... even if we tell them we do not and cannot give again, they continue to call. Allowing a business we have had a previous contact with to call in essense removes the DNC protections we currently have.
