I do not see a valid argument in amending the DO NOT CALL LIST. It would be fair to say, the vast majority of Americans, including myself, find telemarketing an intrusion and waste of valuble time. Telemarketing prays on the homebound, elderly, and ill-informed. I think the Commission should ask themselves, when was the last time they did business because a telemarketer called and/or left a message. I'm certain their answer would be the same as most Americans- NEVER. Not only is it a mere annoyance, telemarketing in any form stops business from production and interupts daily family life. Therefore, telmarketing is wrong for business, wrong for privacy rights, wrong for family values, and wrong for America.
