Personally, I enjoy the quiet. Before the DNC registry, I received (on average) 25 - 50 sales calls per week. Most of which were dead air when I answered the call. Since I registered, I only receive non-profit calls and the annoying election calls. Personally, I wish those would go away also. My phone is for me to get in contact with people and companies of MY choice. I don't want any one calling me to sell me anything, offer me anything, to convince my to vote a certain way, etc. Do not change the rules of the Do Not Call registry. It works well now.
