Please reject any petitions by telemarketing firms that would allow pre-recorded spam blitzes to be left on our answering machines, cellphone voicemail, etc. I believe that this type of communication is a direct violation of my right to privacy and my right to be left alone. I consider this type of unwanted commuication to be harassing in nature and a violation of my freedom to be left alone. I should be able to place my number on a no call list, which necessarily precludes such unwanted communication. There should be no exceptions to this rule unless the communication is from a non-profit organization. I will be watching the resolution of this issue very closely!
