I read David Lazarus' column in the 12/5/04 San Francisco Chronicle with horror that the FTC was considering a rule change allowing a flood of phone calls from telemarketers. Even if I have a pre-existing relationships with a companies, I don't want to receive phone calls from telemarketers. Don't change the rules to please scumbag telemarketers like Jesse Crowe, president of Voice Mail Broadcasting. I hope I have made my feelings clear.
