I do not want telemarketers to be able to send recorded messages. Some already do (BP/Amoco). I pay extra for an unlisted number and I am on the do not call list, but I still get calls from time to time. I absolutely HATE those recorded calls and I do not want a loop hole found where they can call me. I have cancelled my credit card with BP/Amoco and refuse to do business with them due to the recorded calls and the fact that they can still call current customers. I will be forced to give a wrong number if asked for a telephone number in the future just to keep them from calling. It is relentless, they start calling at 8AM and continue every 30 minutes or so through out the day. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW AN ADMENMENT THAT ALLOWS THESE PEOPLE TO HARRASS PEOPLE. We get these calls at work all the time too and it takes me away from my work just to answer them, anything from a free disney vacation to a credit card offer.
