I DO NOT want my phone number accessable to telemarketers under any conditions. The current system is working for the most part. I have opted out of having my number available to telemarketers and I DO NOT want any loophole provided to them so that I am bombarded with calls as I was prior to the national registry becoming available to me. When the dinner hour is interrupted a minimum of 5 calls per day, it crosses the line of "doing business" and becomes harassment. By virture of the numbers of citizens who have registered their phone numbers on the call registry in the past, the public has spoken. Please do not subject us to more telemarketers under the disguise of a pre-recorded sales pitch being different. If I have an existing relationship with a company, they can spend the money and send me information via regular mail. If I'm interested, I'll respond on my time schedule. What gives them the right to invade my personal space at will? Nothing. And you should not give them access to my personal space when I have already gone on record stating "I DO NOT want them to invade my space" under any condition.
