I firmly say "NO" to the proposal to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to consumers with whom the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship! I have gotten a few of these calls already! Here's the downside: I have voicemail, with my voice pre-recorded on it. These pre-recorded messages are sensitive to a caller's voice (even though in the case of my voicemail, it is MY pre-recorded voice). This "kicks-off" the pre-recorded message. When I go to play-back my voicemail messages, I have to listen through the entire message (and BOY are they LONG!) before I can delete them. In some cases, these "pre-recorded" messages were over 3 minutes!!!! If I had just answered my phone in the first place, I could have just hung up...not so when it goes to my voicemail! I already opt'ed out! I should not have to again. To me this scam is worse than a live person calling. At least a live person KNOWS when it is my voicemail...not so with pre-recorded messages! VOTE NO TO THIS NEW LOOPHOLE. Thank you
