Please do not allow recorded phone solicitor advertisements. I have signed up for the do not call regisrty and have enjoyed peace and quiet for quite sometime. I think if you do this, alot of people will switch to cell phone only use thus hurting land line phone business. In addition, one cannot expect that by allowing pre-recorded messages solicitation that somehow this is any less invasive than a phone call from a "live" phone solicitor. You are equally interrupted, must stop what you are doing to answer the phone. It is the interruption of personal and family time that is invasive. Even if you hang up on a recording or a person you are still interrupted and need to waste valueable time. If you use a machine to screen calls, How much answering machine space will be used in recording these recorded advertisements? And how many of your wanted calls will have to listen to a message? Please leave things alone and do not give in to lobbyists.
