I don’t want any business interrupting my day with phone calls. If I want to talk to them I will call them. If you let them leave messages on my machine then that means they have to call first. I still have to answer the phone or clear the machine. We need to add voting commercials to this too. During the Presidential Election I would come home from work and find my answering machine full. But I’d have to listen to all this junk to make sure I didn’t miss any calls from my friends. To make matters worse I had to answer my phone no less than five times each night. I knew whom I was going to vote for. I didn’t need anyone pleading for me to go vote early. This needs to be stopped. It’s a real invasion of privacy. I’m to the point of getting rid of my landline phone during the next major election just to make all the calls stop. The night of the election my phone rang 12 times. Something needs to be done.
