I am opposed to any change to the No Call List rules that will allow telemarketers to call me using automated systems. The argument of an existing business relationship as a reason to allow the call is no reason to allow rules change. A lot of my electronic purchases are 1 time buys only. I am not interested in an ongoing business relationship. That should be my choice, not the retailers. Retailers require you to give your phone number when ordering in case there is a problem processing the order. I can live with that. It's an invasion of my privacy if they use that phone number for any other reason than to call me about a problem on my order. This proposed change is 100% for the benefit of the retailers. I am strongly opposed.
