Once the DO NOT CALL block on my phones went into effect, my quality of life improved, just for the most noticeable difference of not getting countless phone calls everyday. Some people are still violating this law, when they call they use generic names like "the chimney cleaning is calling." However, by in large there is such a tremendous difference in the reduced volume of calls everyday, that I truly believe that my life has been enriched by not receiving unwanted calls. That said, I AM APPALLED THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WANTS TO CHANGE THIS LAW. DO NOT ALLOW TELEMARKETERS AND THEIR COMPUTER GENERATED MESSAGES TO ENTER MY LIFE AGAIN.
