PLEASE DO NOT legalize these aggravating, prerecorded, telemarketing calls. In the past, I have had to endure such prerecorded messages on a daily basis (sometimes multiple times a day) from a company that had cleaned my carpets one time! The calls went on for years. I finally got them to stop. Please do not make this kind of harassment legal. The reason for the prerecorded messages is so that they can call again and again and again. It is not the telemarketers that need protection. It is the public that needs to be protected from them.
