I believe the intent, and my impression, of the original rules that formed the National Do-Not-Call list were to stop unsolicited and unwanted incoming telephone calls from telemarketing organizations. This new NPRM will augment that intent. I feel that, regardless of the medium used, if you are on the National Do-Not-Call list you should NOT receive ANY unwanted or unsolicited telephone calls.
