I don't understand why legislators and the FTC are allowing COMPUTERS to disturb PEOPLE in the privacy of their own homes. Have you ever picked up your ringing telephone at home to be told to hold on for an "important message"--then having the call disconnect in your ear? A new loophole in the No-Call policy will make things worse. YOUR CHALLENGE: 1) Businesses should be held to a one-to-one ratio; one PERSON calls one PERSON at a time. 2) Outlaw computer dialers and honor no-call requests. Anything less is disrespectful, unprofessional, and wholly unappreciated. If I want future services from the businesses I deal with (or anyone else), I know how to reach them.
