We do not want an exception allowing any intrusion onto our numbers registered on the National Do Not Call list. We don't want taped messages or any other solicitation traffic on our business lines. We already have to fend off gratuitous such traffic. Now that we have registered on the Do Not Call list, we fully expect our privacy to be preserved, regardless the type of call that might be made. There is no point to registering on the Do Not Call list if it does not eliminate the spurious calls. We are not paying monthly phone bills to provide a conduit for random anonymous individuals OR businesses to solicit business from us at the waste of our time and attention. No exception should be made to benefit any telemarketing group; whether they like it or not, the Do Not Call list was introduced with them partly in mind. They are free to call people who are NOT on the Do Not Call list; they should understand that the end-user of a number of the Do Not Call list does not want to be called! That is the point of the list. So do not modify the restrictions.
