My family is vehemently opposed to anything that allows telemarketers access to our home. The recent political campaign was a nightmare of phone calls - sometimes we came home to find that 5 out of 6 calls on our answering machine were from campaigners. If telemarketers are allowed access, it will be even worse - as there will be no finite end to it all. There is nothing more infuriating than running for the phone from the garden, shower or whereever to find someone or some machine trying to sell one something. Additionally, we will NEVER buy something from a telephone (or for that matter, a computer spam) marketer. We deeply resent these invasions of our home and our private time. PLEASE do not loosen up access - it needs to stricter!
