Please, please, please do not let businesses turn loose their prerecorded messages on the public by amending the Telemarketing Sales Rule. The do-not-call registry has provided some relief and peace in my home. If you let the telemarketers turn their computers and recorders loose on us again, that peace will disappear. I, and other members of the public, deserve privacy and peace in our homes. And that privacy and peace should not be sold to enrich businesses.
