Comments:
Do not change the law to allow telemarketers to send prerecorded spam to our homes. Since we opted out of receiving telemarketing calls, we have been able to enjoy peaceful meals in the evenings. Opening a loophole like this means we will once again be bombarded by unwanted contacts. In addition, these calls could easily tie up our answering machine, making it impossible for us to receive urgent messages from family members, school, or employers. At the very least, you should allow us to opt out of receiving such prerecorded calls.
