Dear Sir, I have discontinued my landline telephone in favor of a cell phone. Thanks to number portability I was able to keep my landline number of some 30 years. I have only a limited number of minutes each month as social security don't cover much. I DON'T WANT TO BE CALLED BY ANYONE I DON'T KNOW. What part of that does the FTC not understand? Who, in the decision making levels, has a financial interest in telemarketing? The answer to that question will tell us why this change is even being considered. Its past time our Government starts acting in favor of its citizens over the corporations...
