Please don't open any "loophole" as suggested by the Electronic Information Center. Most homes do business with a multitude of companies that would then have a right to call and promote, solicit, or otherwise tie up residential phone lines. The "Do Not Call Registry" is a good idea and has successfully allowed many of us a lot of peace and privacy at home. As a government initiated measure, this is rare. Don't screw it up!
