Recognizing the sale of customer lists between loosely related companies, I highly oppose the misuse of telephones by companies wishing to force products into my view. Between identy theft issues and the plague of personal debt, telemarketing with its anonimity for the caller and unsecured telephones lines is detrimental to our national economy. From a personal standpoint, after working 11 hour days, I don't want to spend the other three percent of my day anwering the phone and sorting through messages to find those which are actually important.
