|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I do not want to receive unsolicited calls from any business, surveyors, etc. I feel that the law as it stands now seems to be working fine. If the telemarketers are having a hard time making ends meet, then tell them to find another line of work. By allowing companies call you that “say” they have done business with you create a big mess. Who can call, a company that you did business with 10 years ago? The parent company of a business that you did business with? The brother/sister companies of a business that you have done business with? What constitutes "have done business with", Called for information about a company, bought a product, or have been previously called by this company. Keep the law as it is.
