PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE: Do not allow telemarketers to use automated calls. This would only assure a return to the pre "Do Not Call List" days. My qulality of life has improved so much after the establishment of the Do Not Call List that it is hard to put into words. Dinners with my family without telephone interruption were something that I thought I had lost until the day after that list went into effect. The change was dramatic. Automated calls would just assure that I would be back in the spot of having to turn off my phone for the evening or face a barrage of unwanted solicitations. I congratulate and thank you for creating the original Do Not Call List. Please do not undo the good you have done.
