Unattended marketing calls are the worst kind of invasion to my privacy. My answering machine is intended to capture important information concerning my daily activities. Wading through nuisance messages in the conduct of my personal business is an affront to my rights as an American citizen. I request that the FTC not allow such practices now or in the future. Further, I feel that the abandonment of 3% of calls per day is quite sufficient, if not exorbitant. I would prefer never to be the target of marketing through any 2-way communication medium.
