DO NOT CHANGE The DO NOT CALL law. I registered because I am sick of being disturbed by telemarketers. As it stands right now, during the past general election, I was plagued by at least 5 pre-recorded calls per week from various political organizations wanting me to "show" my support by attending a "$1,000 per plate dinner" (which I cannot afford and would not attend even if I could) to wanting my "vote". As far as I was concerned, those calls came at lousy times, during dinner, after my husband went to bed because he has to get up a 4 AM for work, on a Sunday (my one day of rest and relaxation). It turned me against alot of politicians who lost my vote because of it. Don't open it up to pre-recorded telemarketing messages!!!!
