|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I put my name on the Do Not Call List because I do NOT want to receive telemarketing calls. I especially object to prerecorded messages, because the only thing you can do is to hang up. There is no way to contact the company and tell them not to call again, no person on the other end of the line that you can ask to note your number as one not to call. My policy is to NEVER purchase anything offered by telemarketers. It is fruitless for them to call me and I am saving them time and expense by removing my name from their calling list. Please honor our desire not to receive telemarketing calls.
