Comments:
I strongly oppose the proposed changes to the telemarketing sales rules. I am totally sick of telemarketing calls and can see no justification to make the proposed changes which will likely increase the number of calls I receive. I especially do not want calls with pre-recorded messages whether or not I have an established business relationship. I consistently get calls from companies who claim the established business relationship which is totally false. Also I oppose the petition submitted by the Direct Marketing Association. I want to tighten the rules on telemarketers, not loosen them. I urge you not to make either of these changes to the telemarketing sales rules.
