I hate telemarketing calls. Everyone that I know hates tememarketing calls. I'm sure that you knew that. I'm aslo sure that you hate to interrupt something important only to find out it's another damn telemarketing call -- political, religious or commercial. I don't have a lobbyist in Washington to remind you of that every day. Telemarketing firms and marketing managers are there all the time. I know that our government is becoming "of, by and for the corporation". I do hope that you understand the anger that people feel when victimized by collusion between marketing types and regulatory agencies. I ask you not to create an "additional call abandonment safe harbor ", and not to amend any current provisions except in a manner that would further restrict the abomination euphemistically referred to as "direct marketing". Sincerely yours, Philip Spohn
