I am opposed to allowing the Telemarketers the proposed safe harbor, as it means more unwanted junk phone calls which I do not want. The loss of privacy is an important problem of today's society. The Federal Trade Commission should do all that it can to protect citizen's privacy. I am also opposed to the liberal interpretation of the term 'business relationship' to include casual purchase of a cup of coffee or similar sundry goods. The FTC needs to apply common sense to limit the scope where businesses can be privacy invaders.
